See who unfollowed you on X

How it works

Muffle opens your followers page and reads the list as your own browser loads it. That snapshot is kept in your browser. The next time you scan, it compares the two and shows you the difference.

• Everyone who unfollowed you since the last scan, with their bio and follower count
• Everyone new, in the same list
• The last 20 snapshots, so you can look further back than once

The first scan gives you a baseline and no diff, because there is nothing to compare it against yet. The second scan is the one that answers the question.

Against the alternatives

The difference is structural rather than a feature list. Hosted tools authenticate as you against X's API, which is why they can be capped, priced per account and switched off. Muffle reads a page your browser already fetched.

The honest limits

• It only knows about changes between scans. It cannot tell you about somebody who left before you installed it.
• A scan means loading your whole follower list, which takes minutes on a large account.
• Blocked and suspended accounts look the same as unfollows, because X presents them the same way.
